Manchester Utd vs Fulham
Manchester United get their Premier League campaign up and funning following a narrow defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield on penalties on Saturday. Erik ten Hag will have a point to prove after being handed a new contract in the summer. The Red Devils have invested heavily in the transfer market, but a recent Luke Shaw injury will set them back.
Their opponents Fulham have lost Palhinha in the transfer window but had added Smith Rowe to their ranks as they seek a third consecutive mid table finish.
Manchester United looked good at times in the Community Shield but looked flawed in defence at times. Fulham will see this game as a free hit and will come out of the blocks quick. I expect a goal fest with a United win.
Prediction – Man Utd 1x2 and BTTS @2.68

Ipswich vs Liverpool
These 2 sides meet in the Premier League for the first time in 22 years. It’s a tough start for the Tractor Boys who achieved promotion under Kieran McKenna in impressive fashion. Ipswich have failed to add much strength to their side over the summer and will be reliant on their squad from last season.
For Liverpool all eyes will be on new manager Arne Slot as he looks forward to him first competitive game. Lack of signing may concern some fans but there is still an abundance of talent in the squad.
All roads lead to a comfortable Liverpool win but the recent change in management can lead to unpredictability. Despite this I will go for a commanding visitor win.
Prediction – Liverpool -1.75 @2.19

Arsenal vs Wolves
Wolves provide to opening opposition as Mikel Artetas men look to launch a third offensive on defending Champions Manchester City. The arrival of Ricccardo Calafiori will improve the Gunners defence as they look to end their 2-decade drought without a Premier League title.
An impressive last season for Wolves saw them challenging for a European spot until they faded away in the final months. The lack of spending at Molineux may prove their undoing as they try to fill the voids left by Max Kilman and Pedro Neto.
This has been a favourable fixture for Arsenal, having won their last 6 meetings and I expect them to do the same again.
Prediction – Arsenal to win and under 3.5 goals @2.02

West Ham vs Aston Villa
Julen Lopetegui will hope for a positive start for his West Ham side as he takes charge for the first time since the departure of David Moyes. The Hammers have been busy in the transfer window with an array of new signings, however preseason results have been less than desirable, failing to win their last 3.
Unai Emerys Villa side have proven they can compete with the best having secured Champions League football with an impressive 4th place finish last year. After a curious transfer window its hard to say if Villa have improved, especially with the demands of Champions League football on the horizon.
I expect this game to be a cagey affair with both sides yet to find their feet this season and the draw looks to be value here.
Prediction – Draw @3.70

Chelsea vs Manchester City
The opening Sunday in the premier league could be a cracker as Chelsea host Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. These 2 have already met earlier in the month in a friendly with Man City running out 4-2 victors. It’s been a preseason to forget for Chelsea who managed just 1 win from 6. While City also struggled for results preseason, they edged out Manchester Utd on penalties in the Community Shield.
Pep Guardiolas men once again begin their campaign as favourites for the title while for Chelsea they are amid a new era following the departure of Pochettino. Expect to see plenty goals in this one.
Prediction – Over 3.5 goals @2.27

Leicester vs Tottenham
Ange Postecoglou’s men will hope to go 1 better and secure champions league football after narrowly missing out last season. The addition of Solanke will certainly improve their attacking output this season.
Despite storming to the Championship title last season Leicester have lost their manager to Chelsea, but they will be high on confidence
While Spurs come into this as heavy favourite, I expect the hosts to frustrate them and a draw might be the value here.
Prediction – Draw @4.3
Recommended Treble: Man Utd 1x2 and BTTS @2.68, Liverpool -1.75 @2.19
