What is a 'back' bet?
To ‘back’ a selection in a market is to place a bet for something to happen. This is like a bet that you would place with a traditional bookie. For example, 'backing’ Barcelona is placing a bet for them to win their match.
What is a 'lay' bet?
To ‘lay’ a selection in a market is to place a bet for something NOT to happen, or in other words, bet against something happening. For example, laying Barcelona is placing a bet for them NOT to win their match. In that situation, you’ll win your bet if Barcelona draw or lose.
How does Commission on Exchange Markets work?
3et charges a commission of 2.5% on the net winnings from bets on exchange markets. If net winnings on an exchange market are zero or less then no commission will be paid.
Can I post an offer with the expectation for it to be matched at a later time?
No. Posting and maintaining unmatched offers on 3et exchange markets is not supported. Back or Lay bets are either accepted or rejected at the time of bet placement, with no offers or portions of an offer remaining unmatched beyond that bet placement attempt.
Where will I find Exchange Markets on 3et?
Exchange markets are available for Tennis and Cricket events and displayed on Euro view only. Your 3et account will need to be registered from an appropriate jurisdiction to see them.
